OK,
Folks, it's time to put on your thinking caps because I need your help!
Some
of you have read my stories Ruins of a Past Day and The Dawning.
These stories are sequels to the novel Casting Call for Love, available
as a free read.
What
you may not know is that the two stories started life as a sort of challenge to
write a story about a picture. Well, that didn't work out too well. Instead, the
pictures inspired me and that inspiration led to the stories as you see them
today.
I had
fun doing the stories, and I want to do it again.
That's
where you come in...
Between
now (July 26, 2010) and August 23m 2010, send me pictures you think will
inspire a story.
That's
really all there is to it.
No
muss, no fuss.
After
the contest closes, I will review the pictures and select the two pictures I
find the most inspiring.
The
people who submitted those two pictures will get their pick of one of my books
in PDF format.
The
picture can be something you found on the Web, a photo you took, or just about
anything you can imagine. Just like Outback Steak House, "No Rules!"
Well,
OK, there are some rules...
1. You MUST send your entry to the right place and in the
right format with all the information. Otherwise, the system here will
automatically delete your entry and I'll never even see it.
2. If more than one person sends in the same picture, the earliest
entry wins.
3. Winners will be notified by E-Mail and prizes will be sent
by E-Mail.
4. You must be over 18 years of age to enter.
5. The decision of the judge (that's me) is final.
6. Pictures remain the property of their current owners.
Now,
here's what we need from you:
Send
your entries to contest.entry@melodeeaaron.com with a subject line of
"Picture Entry". If your E-Mail client supports it, you can click HERE
and that will create a message with the right address and subject.
In the
body of your E-Mail, include the following:
1. Either the picture itself or a link to the picture on the
Web. Make sure your link works!
2. A statement of who owns the picture if you know who that
is. If you don't know, don't worry. We'll assume it's owned by the web site
where the picture is.
That's
about it!
Good
luck!
